Insurance

Medical care for injuries is covered in all insurance plans. If you want to seek chiropractic care, it is covered in most insurance policies. Injury Help Today clinics will file your claims for you. If you are not sure whether your insurance has the appropriate benefits, we will be happy to verify your coverage for you.

Coverage Information

In order to process your insurance benefits, our clinics will need the following information about your policy:

• Name and phone number of insurance company (usually located on the back of insurance card)
• Group number (usually located on the front of insurance card)
• Name of insured
• Social Security Number of insured
• Date of birth of insured
• Your name and relationship to the insured

If you choose to call your insurance company yourself to verify chiropractic benefits, here are some key questions to ask them:

• Does my policy have chiropractic benefits?
• Are there any specific limitations for chiropractic? Such as:
• Maximum number of visits per year
• Dollar maximum per year
• Dollar maximum per visit
• Is there a deductible for chiropractic benefits?
• What is the percentage of coverager of spinal mainpulations and x-rays after the deductible?
• Do I need a referral from my doctor?

HMO & PPO Coverage

The Injury Help Today clinics are participating members of many insurance plans. If a clinic is not in your provider book, do not worry. Most insurance companies have In-Network and Out-of-Network benefits for care. Also, most clinics join many new plans as they become available, so always ask a clinic if it is part of your plan.

If you are a member of an HMO, you may need to get a referral from your primary care physician to our office. We will be happy to assist you in any way possible in doing so.

Each PPO is different and may also require a referral from your primary care physician first. Once your insurance coverage is verified we will have a better idea of how to serve you.

Medicare and Medicaid

Medicare covers spinal mainuplations at 80% and most Medicare Supplements will pay the other 20%! Medicaid will cover 12 chiropractic visits per year! Even without insurance, care is still very affordable.

We understand that in some cases finances may play an important role in your ability to get the care you need. Injury Help Today clinics have worked very hard to make the cost of care affordable to everyone. It is for this reason that many clinics offer payment plans.

Once you have been examined and x-rayed, the doctor will be able to determine what type of treatment would be most beneficial for you. The total cost of care is given to you up front with several different payment options. Some discounts are awarded when payment in full is made up front.

If you are contemplating family health insurance in the near future or at a later date, ask if coverage is included in your policy. Care is automatically covered in some policies, however, in others it can be added to your present policy. This inclusion can be valuable in obtaining total health care for your family.
